1. Travel Tips

1. Pick a day and time to travel, preferably Tuesday through Saturday. Try to avoid traveling on Sunday and Monday, these are travel extension days. Also be able to go to the airport to purchase the ticket from the counter, sometimes it is less expensive as well.
2. If your trip is short extend it to the following weekend.
3. Buy tickets in advance, like a month or two out. if there is a special get a ticket and take the trip in a month or two.
4. Check out online price comparisons if you are open to flying different airlines.
5. Setup airfare alerts through Google.
Track prices for a route or flight
When the price for a flight or route you're tracking changes significantly, you can get email updates.
Go to Google Flights.
At the top, choose the number of stops, cabin class, and how many tickets you need.
Choose your departure airport and destination.
To track prices for this route, turn on Track prices.
You can track prices for your searched dates or, if your travel dates are flexible, “Any dates.”
Optional: To track prices for a specific flight, choose your flights, then turn on Track prices.
When you track “Any dates,” you get an email when the route’s minimum price drops significantly over a month. If there isn’t a large enough price drop, you get a regular email with the best available flight prices.
Find tracked flights or turn emails off
Go to Google Flights.
In the top left, click Menu Tracked flight prices.
To find flights you’re tracking, click a saved route.
To turn tracking emails on or off, click Add notification .
Optional: To stop tracking a route or flight, click Remove .
6. Check for Hidden City Ticketing.
7. Take an early flight to leave, take a late flight back and be sure to have a ride waiting.
8. Let the airline choose the seat.
9. Check different points of sale, meaning flip the way you search for the ticket.
10. Book on multiple carriers.
11. Choose vacation destinations by the price. What's cheaper? Let's go there.
12. Consider airports that are further away.
13. Use credit cards that offer miles.
2. Pack a bag.
A real bag or backpack.

4 outfits and 1 surprise, just in case.
Toothbrush and toothpaste
Some activity you like to do on paper.
3. Get to the station
one or two hours early for site seeing and finding a great place to seat while waiting.
4. Do the opposite
of what you think you should do. Instead of eating McDonalds, opt for Applebee's and order a drink. Instead of wearing tennis shoes, try some comfortable flip-flops and prop up your feet while you wait for your flight. Take time to relax and recharge.
5. If you start
to think that this is a waste of time, then that is correct. Now look at a few in airport shops and find something great to play with or read.
6. Keep going.
Pay attention to the simplest details. Lose all sense of time and place. Please.
